How to Eat Healthy at Gas Stations
Have you ever been on a road trip or taken a quick late night stop to the gas station looking for something yummy to eat but having no clue what to get? So then you end up grabbing something that appears healthy (but usually is full of sugar) or you give up altogether and grab a soda and some chips. I’ve been there too many times. Thanks to my guy, I’ve learned what are healthy gas station options that will fill you, give you nutrients, and keep you on track with your health goals. No more regrets when you walk out.

Bars
Honestly, protein bars suck in my book. They taste fake, have clay-like texture and just aren’t real. I say go with something that has real ingredients like one of these bars. And if you’re looking for more protein, go get a protein shake from the refrigerated section. They’re yummy (like liquid ice cream!!) and have some awesome protein. Usually, gas stations these days have a refrigerated healthy section that will feature string cheese, and eggs, and little snack packs. Add that beef jerky (stay with the bags more than the Slim Jims) and you’ve got a little lunch.

I was never a huge fan of protein shakes until I tried these. They taste like ice cream but are filling you with good protein. We usually don’t get enough protein, so pick up one of these to get your fill.

Sweet Drinks
